This weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting an event with author and illustrator Charlotte Agell at Sherman’s Books in Freeport. All afternoon, Charlotte did free Sumi brush portraits for families traveling through Freeport. Above is one example from the dozens of pieces that Agell did in just a few hours.
Catching Charlotte at an event isn’t the only way to check out her artwork - she illustrated a number of picture books, her young adult novel Welcome Home or Someplace Like It, and her new chapter book The Accidental Adventures of India McAllister.
